Half-Day River Boat Tour to Fort Selkirk

Recognizing a gap in local tourism services in Pelly Crossing, central Yukon, Teri-Lee Isaac is pleased to offer guests the opportunity to experience historic Fort Selkirk.

Teri-Lee is a Selkirk First Nation citizen and a graduate of the Yukon University & Heritage and Culture Program. She has a true passion for sharing her culture and history with her guests.

This half day river boat tour departs from Minto and offers a unique opportunity to learn about the rich culture of the Hucha Hudan (Northern Tutchone) Indigenous people.

On the one-hour long boat ride, guests may see a variety of wildlife and upon arrival at Fort Selkirk, learn about the history of this important fur trading site. Guests will be expertly guided through the restored buildings of Fort Selkirk and are sure to walk away feeling relaxed, informed and culturally enriched.
